Robots?
Why robotics?
While many students may not envision themselves designing and building robots
in the future many will be effected by them. Many people do not realize
that robots in manufacturing are very common. Robots are
currently being developed for the military. In the future, robots will
also be serving us in our homes and businesses. Each of these future
assistants will need maintenance and repairs. This new job market will
be very important to our new economy and the operation of these robots. As a matter of
fact, Marion, Ohio is home to one of the largest industrial robotics
retrofitting companies in the nation.
